New York: Hastings House, 1958. Signed limited edition. Hardcover. SIGNED. 527pp. Octavo [21.5 cm] 1/4 beige and sea green cloth with matching sea green paper covered boards and a gilt stamped title on the spine. Map endsheets. In a light green paper covered slipcase. Very good to near fine. The fore edge of the text block is very lightly soiled. The slipcase is in good condition, with rubbing and subtle sun fading. The underlying boards are exposed occasionally along the edges. There is a 4 inch long split in one of the edges, and one of the side panels is lightly stained. The slipcase is still quite sturdy. Part of the American Procession Series edited by Henry G. Alsberg. Number 167 of 199 copies. Signed by Sandoz on the limitation page.
