B. ~Original dove-grey boards, lettering in red and illustration in black to front board. Some marking to boards. Mild fading spine and front board near spine, with defined area of fading to rear board at top and near spine. Some wear to spine, and small loss (c. 2cm) at top of spine. Loss to bottom outer board corners and page edges, with about 1cm loss at most to pages (chewed?) .Minor foxing to page edges, top edges toned. Endpapers browned. Cracking to endpapers over inner hinges, but hinges still holding. Minor foxing to prelims and endpages, and a very few minor scattered instances throughout. Very minor scuff marks to a couple of pages (pp. 31 & 33). No ownership marks. 4to (20 x 24.5cm). With numerous in text b/w line drawings throughout by Belloc's close friend and frequent collaborator, Basil Temple Blackwood. Undated.
