London: T. Payne and Son; T. Cadell, 1786. Fifth Edition . Leather. Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Fifth edition of 1786, four years after the first edition. Full contemporary calf. Elaborate gilt decoration to spines with leather gilt title labels. General wear to leather but a handsome set. Upper board of Vol. V detached; others straining but still attached. Rubbing and bumping to corners, rubbing and nibbling to spine tips. Hinges cracked but o/w firmly bound. A few spots and some discoloration to endpapers; owner's signature to front pastedowns; contents o/w very good without other inscriptions and with only the odd mark and spot. 299, 285, 321, 292, 321 pp. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall.
