This edition covers 700 years of movable book history with 11 historically celebrated paper engineers. Each artist has an informational page along with a reproduction of their work. Includes the artists Matthew Paris, Robert Sayer, Dean & Son, Lothar Meggendorfer, Ernest Nister, S. Louis Giraud, Harold B. Lentz, Juilian Wehr, Geraldine Clyne, Vojtech Kubasta and Ib Penick.
Clothbound hardcover in Fine condition with matching Fine clamshell case that shows just a touch of rubbing at corner. Bound pull ribbon and magnetic closure. Comes in publisher's original mailing package.
