Hardcover. 0962468215 Limited edition [this being copy No. 70, with the congregants' names, Richard and Ellen Boriskin, in gold gilt lettering on the front] of a "special numbered anniversary edition". This copy has been signed by the author on the front free endpaper. The "story of the Congregation of the Sons of Israel and David, known popularly as Temple Beth-El, spans the years from the its beginnings in 1854 as a small gathering of worshippers in the home of Providence merchant Solomon Pareira through its growth into a dynamic congregation of near 1200 families celebrating during 1989-1990 its 135th anniversary". Red cloth with gold gilt lettering, 530 pages, acknowledgments, major sources employed in compiling this work, index. Near Fine copy in Near Fine Dust Wrapper [a few minor edge nicks] with a paper-clip impression mark to the top edge of the rear panel.
