Ex-Library; 16 oz.; 218 pages; 1st ED Pictorial HC no DJ ex library w/library markings/stickers, light spine lean, 1st end page removed o/w nice clean/tight/bright condition. In 1836, Kiowa and Comanche raiders massacred Silas Stones wife and two of his sons, and took his grandchildren. One of them was Sarai Stone. Kane and Jacob become Silas agents and traded among the Comanche in an effort to find the lost children. After ten years of searching, they found the boys, John and Jamie, always hoping and praying to find Sarai. Then in 1851 Sarai Stone walked into the trading post and told the men to leave her alone. She had become a Comanche since she was ten, and would not leave her family. .
