Copyright 1952, published 1952 by Harper & Brothers for Council on Foreign Relations (New York) and Royal Institute of International Affairs (London), printed in the USA. 794 pages. NO dust jacket. Blue hardcovers show wear such as spine lean, tanned spine and sunfade to the edges, nicks to the edges, bumped corners, worn-through spine head and tail, bumped spine head and tail, scratches, spots, soiling, and shelfwear. Boards bow as viewed from the top edge. There is a white substance on the front cover. Tanned and scratched textblock with spots, smudges/rubbing, and soiling. Pastedowns and endpapers show tanning from the binding glue. Hard creases throughout the volume. A couple of pencil markings on the front pastedown but otherwise there does not appear to be any writing or markings. Overall, this book is in Good condition.
