London: Raphael Tuck & Sons, 1924. This printing not identified in Podeschi but circa 1924. Bound in variant brown cloth stamped in blind and gold. Compiled with a foreword by B.W. Matz, editor of "The Dickensian", with an introduction by Kate Perugini, Charles Dickens daughter. Wonderfully illustrated by Harold Copping with 30 full page color plates, all with original tissue guards intact. Other illustrations include frontispiece portait of Dickens, engraved by Armytage, from a portrait taken in America (by Guerney, 1867). A second portrait of a younger Dickesns and 2 facsimiles. Front free endpaper [and possibly one prelim] excised. A tight, solid copy with only faint rubbing to extremities. Podeschi D198.. Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. Illus. by Harold Copping. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
