About This Item
Glasguae [Glasgow]: Excudebat Robertus Foulis, 1748. 12mo, pp. 52, 34. Modern dark brown calf, dark red label. Paper toned, with some leaves dustsoiled, a small wormhole to margin of first few leaves. Spine sunned, final gathering pulling free and nearly loose. Substantial pencil notes (filling almost all space including interlinear) to 7 leaves. Perhaps due to its small size, this seems to have had a lower survival rate than most Foulis productions of this period: ESTC finds 6 locations in the UK and 7 outside. Gaskell 120, ESTC T85454.
