Original blue wraps, solid but a bit stained, with title in black on the front. Lots of reprints about this notable educator, but this is a first edition at an affordable price. Inside, clean and tight, with several portraits of Brooks (1795 - 1872). No stains, no prior owner marks, no browning. .
