London: James Nisbet & Co., Ltd, 1899. Hardcover. Very Good. 8vo 8" - 9" tall. A particularly nice-looking rebind of a later printing of one of Charles Lever's classic works of historical fiction. Rebound in marbled paper over boards, black cloth-backed and black cloth over tips, sharp and distinct gilt lettering to spine. Tips, edges scuffed and worn a bit, but cloth back quite fine. Marbled endpapers. [8], 2-628 pp.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
