[Glasgow University Publications XCIV] Octavo; xxx + 329pp (including chronology and index) + appended portfolio of 96 B&W photographic plates. Auburn cloth with gold spine lettering. Previous owner's inscription on front free endpaper, with sticker residue on top right corner. Covers slightly bumped on top corners. Some black ink spots at top fore-edge of a few plates in final portfolio. Textblock faintly tanned but clean, square, and solid.

Retrospective volume covers all facets of the career of the famous Glaswegian architect, whose buildings and furniture were major influences on the Art Nouveau and Arts and Crafts styles.
