No reference to printing, very good + cloth hardcover shows bit of corner wear to covers, moisture spotting at top page edges, name at front endpaper and some other light trace wear, in very good - dust jacket (price at flap) that shows a couple of small scotch tape mends at spien tail of jacket reverse, rubbing, mild soil, closed tearing along fore edge of frotn panel, bit of toning at spine tail and edgewear that includes closed tears and shallow open chipping. 416 pages with black & whites and index. Solid copy in jacket of this "..magnificent biography by one of our most distinguished historians---covering the life of the powerful, complex, and almost fanatically dedicated senator for Massachusetts....
