Brown in his history of Star Atlas's (1932)" Copies of Cottam's Charts are by no means common at the present day, it appears, from the copies listed by second-hand booksellers. Cottam's atlas will be found useful to the historical student who requires to compare the stars as depicted in ancient atlases with a modern work in which the constellations are separately delineated, such has been done by the author. 1889
