Arthur L. Humphreys, 1910. First Edition. Hardcover. 526 pages. 7 by 9-1/2 inches. Biography of British Prime Minister William Pitt (in office 1766-1768) by Rosebery, himself a former P. M. (in office 1894-1895). First edition (first printing). Red cloth with gold lettering on the cover and spine. A very good copy; no dust jacket. Spine a bit faded with a small sticker scar at the head. Hinges cracked. Offsetting to endpapers.
