About This Item

First printing. Unclipped dust jacket has a bit of creasing here and there, a fingernail open tear to the top of the spine and a diagonal folding crease to the rear inner flap. Signed, dated, located, and inscribed to a previous owner by Nicholls on the title page. There is a date, 'June 1990' written on the front endpaper. Also included is a letter inviting the previous owner on a Battlefield Tour on which a veteran from the First World War will be travelling. This veteran is mentioned several times in the book.
