Ladies' Gossip column offers chatter about latest styles and fabrics: ""Debeges are no longer plain or merely twilled, but are imported in stylish small figures, stripes, armures..."" News about a Frenchman opening an ""Hymenial Academy"" in Kentucky, in which young ladies will be taught the marriage service, with all the proper sobs, sighs and hysterics, in three easy lessons.""
