The text is illustrated with black-and-white photography, illustrations and maps. Illustrated card cover with red and green coloured titles to the front panel. A small book about the fastest, at the time, steam train in the world. "The Cheltenham Flyer". A small book put out the boys, predominantly, with an interest in railways and steam trains. Rubbing to the book edges and a little chipping to the backstrip edges. The backstrip shows the effects of insect activity and the panels are somewhat sunned and show handling marks. Age toning of the textblock edges along with a few stains. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. [8], 232 pages,. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting.
