Map endpapers. Description: Dust jacket design by Sol Immerman, adapted from a painting by R W Lindneux Marquis James, who won two Pulitzer Prizes for biography, here tells his own life story. The author's father took part in the famous Oklahoma Land Run of 1893, and he grew up in the town of Enid in the Strip. Six-Guns, Number 1155. Originally published in 1945; this is a later printing.
