One corner lightly bumped. Light wear to the corners with slight foxing along text block edges. Top edge of text block is lightly faded. Inside pages are clean, bright and unmarked. Dustjacket spine is faded and stained. Spine and corners have some tears and tiny chips. Rear panel is slightly soiled. Foxing on reverse side. Does not have a price on flap and does state BOMC Young Readers of America selection. The story of Stenka Razin, a Cossack leader who led a major uprising against the nobility and tsarist bureaucracy in southern Russia in 1670–1671. Illustrated with two colour drawings. One of the publisher's World Landmark books for children. World Landmark Books No. W-39 .
