London: John Murray. Very Good. 1841. Fine Binding. 9-1/2" X 6-3/4" This book is hard-bound in a fine binding of gilt tooled, full brown morocco leather, with gilt stamping and raised bands on the spine. The covers show some light scuffing, edge-wear, and rubbing to the joints, corners, and spine-ends. The binding is solid. The contents are bright and generally clean with illustrations, but also with some light scattered foxing/toning. There is a nice engraved frontispiece portrait of Lord Byron, and a fold-out map at the rear. .
