Boston: Houghton Mifflin Company, 1973. First Edition, First Printing. Cloth. Very Good ++/Very Good +. Samuel H. Bryant. An attractive copy of this signed First Edition, First Printing John Kenneth Galbraith title. The book itself is in Very Good ++ condition bound in blue cloth with moderate discoloration at edges. Front and back end papers display a map illustrated by Samuel H. Bryant in brilliant coloring and condition. Previous owner's writing along inner crease in blue ink dated "1973". Red ink marking in upper right hand corner, appears erased but not completely. Author signature across half title page. Tightly bound edition with crisp pages and clear photographs throughout. Dust jacket protected by archival cover. Dust jacket in very good condition with light frosting at extremities and along spine creases. Moderate creasing at spine head and end with clear and bright title. All in all jacket is well preserved with intact price and has protected the book rather well. Overall a nice edition by John Kenneth Galbraith.
