Newtown, PA: Bird & Bull Press, 1986. Limited edition. Hardcover. Fine. 4to. Black morocco spine, red leather lettering label, gilt, printed paper boards. One of 325 numbered copies printed by Henry Morris on mouldmade Hahnemüle paper. Preface by Elaine Koretsky. With 40 large samples of Chinese paper and their descriptions. Laid-in is a facsimile of a 1932 South China Morning Post as an example of the old Hong Kong newspapers McClure used to his parcels of paper.
A fine copy. This copy unnumbered and marked "H. M. Copy." and therefore presumed to be the publisher's personal copy.
