London: Religious Tract Society, 1911. Book. Fair. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 140mm x 220mm. Moderate wear to cloth. Front hinge cracked and ffep partially detached. Title page and coloured frontispiece non-extant. Plates facing pages 51 and 54 are non extant as is the coloured plate 'A Performing Monkey' facing page 216. There is a 2cm tear to the bottom white margin of plates facing page 109, otherwise the existing plates are in good order and the book is internally remarkably clean. Binding in good order. 369pp.
