FIRST EDITION, octavo, black cloth boards, gilt stamped lettering to spine, 183 pp, VG ( light soiling to front board, 1.5 cm tear with loss to lower corner of front board, slight bruising to spine edges, v slight chaffing & scuffing to boards, light remains of sticker to fep, v slight sporadic creasing & foxing to pages throughout, slight foxing to page edges ) in d/w VG- ( moderate creasing, bruising & chipping to cover edges, light chaffing & scuffing to covers, 2 cm + 5 mm tear with loss to lower front flap, heavy creasing to join of front cover & flap, v slight soiling & foxing to inside of covers, price clipped )
Synopsis
Chocky is a science fiction novel by John Wyndham, first published in 1968 by Michael Joseph.. The BBC produced a radio adaption by John Tydeman in 1967. In 1984 a children's television drama based on the novel was shown on ITV in the UK.
