The work inspired the ITV television series Chocky (1984) and its sequels Chocky's Children (1985) and Chocky's Challenge (1986). The novel was published in the US as a paperback slightly earlier. Octavo. Original black boards, spine lettered in gilt. With dust jacket. Lean to spine, light foxing to edges, else clean; bright unclipped jacket with a little creasing: a very good copy in near-fine jacket.
Synopsis
Chocky is a science fiction novel by John Wyndham, first published in 1968 by Michael Joseph.. The BBC produced a radio adaption by John Tydeman in 1967. In 1984 a children's television drama based on the novel was shown on ITV in the UK.
