About This Item

Faber and Faber, London., 1968. First edition.Wrappered issue - published simultaneously with the hardback. Octavo. 68 pages. Wrappers. Seven-page introduction by Ted Hughes. Presentation copy from Ted Hughes, inscribed by him on the half-title page: ''To Beatrix Holmes - greetings - Ted Hughes January 1975''. Ms Holmes has filled the verso of the inscription page with notes regarding Hughes's works and made significant annotations and underlinings to his introduction. Pasted to the verso of the title-page is a cutting of Elizabeth Jennings' review of Remains of Elmet.Rear cover slightly marked. Very good.
