About This Item
London, UK SCM Press, 1951. Hardcover First Edition UK (1951), Second Printing (1952). A dozen pages early in the text show sprse, neat UNDERLINING in red pencil. Else, Very Good+ in Good DJ: The Book shows just a hint of wear to the extremities; ta former owner's name and date at the upper corner of the front free endpaper; the expected light tanning to the text pages; else flawless; the binding is square and secure. Free of creased or dog-eared pages in the text.. A handsome copy, structurally sound and tightly bound, showing a serious flaw. Clean. Corners sharp. The DJ shows wear to the corner tips and some loss to rubbing and chipping: mild rubbing and faint smudging and toning to the panels; heavy darkening to the backstrip (the titles remain legible); the price is unclipped. Serviceable. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 8vo. (8.75 x 5.75 x 1 inches). 253 pages including translator's preface, index of scripture references and index of authors.
