Geoffrey Bles and The Centenary Press, 1945. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1945. First Edition. 64 pages. No dust jacket. Translated by Doris C. Anson. Black cloth with silver lettering to spine. Pages are light tanned with mild foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper and paste-down, with a few small nicks along text block edge. Occasional thumb-marking present throughout. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with slight bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Light tanning to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends. Book has a prominent backward lean and slight bow.
