A limited edition work, of which five-hundred and fifty copies were printed, five-hundred of which are for sale. This copy is numbered five-hundred and six. Signed by the author to the edition page. The work is a short story collection by Stella Benson. Including 'Tchotl', 'Christmas Formula', and 'A Dream'. Stella Benson was a feminist novel and travel writer. Number eleven of the Furnival Books. With a frontispiece by Clare Leighton. Leighton was best known for her wood engravings. With a foreword by Geoffrey West. With a bookplate to the front pastedown, 'A. J. A. Symons'. Symons was a writer and bibliographer, who published the biographies 'Emin, Governor of Equatoria', 'The Quest for Corvo', and more. Bookplate to the recto to the front endpaper, 'R. G. E. Sandbach'. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally smart. A couple of light marks to the boards.
