About This Item
London: Methuen, 1929. Decorative Cloth. Near Fine. Ernest Shepard. A clean, very impressive copy of the 1929 1st edition. Crisp and Near Fine in its light-blue cloth, with bright gilt-titling and design along the front panel and spine. Just a touch of very light soiling along the front panel's outer hinge, otherwise very clean. And internally, all but pristine, with no writing or markings of any kind. Wonderfully illustrated throughout by the great Ernest Shepard.
