London: Printed for the Proprietor, By Kingsland, 1822. The Irish author Charles Johnstone's best known work, 2nd illustrated edition, 1822, with 12 aquatint plates. Three 16mo volumes ( 6 3/8" x 4 1/4") bound in later 19th c. full polished calf, gilt back with two black morocco labels with gilt lettering, Very Good Plus, paste downs with toning at edges, Vol. I with small tape shadows, scattered light toning mostly to plates. 319, 321, 326 + binder's directions tipped at end. A quite handsome set. . Second Illustrated Edition . Full Calf. Very Good Plus/No Jacket, As Issued. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
