Fulton and prefaces to first edition and fourth printing; very fine color ill. on glossy paper; 168 p., immaculate and unmarked except for following on front paste down: "Property of U.S. Government National Institutes of Health Medical Arts Section; insert is folder containing drawings of fetuses, with commentary on their development. Green boards with still bright gilt lettering on spine and on black patch on front, but in absence of d.j. there is come rubbing at crown and foot of spine and corners somewhat bumped.
