CIFESA/Compania Industrial Film Espanola, 1951. [36p] includes covers, 6.5x9 inches, color and sepia illustrations/film stills, text in Spanish, cast, crew, production company, history, bios, very good publicity booklet in stapled color pictorial wraps with some wear to spine-fold front and back. Handsome production. In 1951 the Francoist film company CIFESA produced this massive and expensive version of the discovery of America by Columbus in part as a reply to the British version of 1949 which portrayed the explorer's weaknesses and failures as well as his triumphs.Gorgeous, detailed production values on the film and the booklet.
