This is a very scarce early single volume English language edition of the classic tale; Tabart is known to have printed sixteen editions in 1804 alone, all of which are now very scarce. This is the sixth edition from Tabart, published in the same year as their first.Illustrated with a hand-coloured copper plate frontispiece, and with one further hand coloured plate.
