Vivid colour illustrations by the British animator & illustrator (1941 -1989). Le Cain was the recipient of 1984 Kate Greenaway Medal for "distinguished illustration in a book for children" for Hiawatha's Childhood. Illustrated boards (same image on face & back). Black titling on face & spine. Tiny wear at spine ends. The matching dust jacket has minor rubbing at spine & corners. . Copyright 1972 , first published in 1972 by Faber & Faber. Printed in Great Britain by Trend & Co. As a bookseller, am presently unable to definitively confirm printing history. Oblong 8vo (8 & 1/2" x 10"). Scarce Please enquire by email for photos.
