This rare volume of poetry, by the poet and literary critic Dallas Kenmare, shows no publication date but is believed published in 1956. It has a label to front stating: "Presented by Ann Pearce-Higgins / Literary Executor of the late / Dallas Kenmare / Dar Ziaten / Djamaa el Mokra / Tangier, Morocco " A small hardcover volume, in white boards, featuring 63 pages of poems. In Very good condition, showing only slight fading at edges.The presentation label is on the front endpaper, with a small red marker dot above the label at the top corner of page; otherwise the book is clean throughout and the binding solid. The author is best known for her book The Fire-Bird, A Study of D. H. Lawrence and several works on Robert Browning. THE CITY OF WHITE STONES, poetry by DALLAS KENMARE. .
