About This Item
From inside DJ flap: "War bring out the worst and the best in news. False information, bias, jingoism, and sensationalism run rampant. Yet, somewhat miraculously, detail, fairness, context and truth shine through." "In Volume One...we see the story behind the people and the events behind this war." "In Volume Two...you witness the turn of the war and its resolution."
Original newspapers for the book were provide by Eric C. Caren from his private archives. Many different newspapers represented.
Volume 1 -
Book - Very Good condition except for 2 pale spots on the page ends when book is closed (see photo). Otherwise Clean and Tight, no marks. Dust Jacket - Fine condition except 2 rubbed areas on front edge (see photo). 371 pages.
Volume 2 -
Book - Fine condition. Clean and Tight, no marks. Dust Jacket - Fine condition except I did feel 2 very slights bumps/rubbing along back spine area (see photo). 373 pages.
These books are large "coffee table" books - 15" tall x 11" wide x 1.5" thick - each. Combined they are quite heavy and will require more than the standard $3.50 postage rate - I'm estimating possibly as much as $7.60 total shipping price for media mail.
