Originally published by The Nashville Banner as four separate supplements, commemorating the Civil War's Centennial years. Full grey cloth. Colour map to rear endpapers. 159 pp. B&W photos in text throughout, plus 2 colour paintings by Gilbert Gaul. Cloth slightly tanned, some rubbing to extremities. Dust jacket is age toned, spine sunned, chipped to extremities, two small perforations to spine, a few stains, flaps cropped. Long tear to head of front cover repaired with tape.
