Dustwrapper complete with a darkened spine with a short, closed tear at the base. Very Good in a Very Good, uncommon dustwrapper. First novel by the English socialist politician Ellen Wilkinson beginning at the time of the General Strike of 1926 by coal miners and depicting the clash between classes and the struggle of a woman who wants a great career as well as a marriage. Uncommon in dustwrapper.
