About This Item
New York: Doubleday & Company, Inc., 1987 First Edition. Doubleday & Company, Inc., New York 1987.
This book contains six macabre short stories that make you shiver and the illustrations in glowing colour by price winning artist Michael Foreman support yourimagination. You might know two of these stories: 'Don't Look Now' (German title: 'Wenn die Gondeln Trauer tragen') which plays in Venice, converted into a famous movie with Julie Christie and Donald Sutherland and 'The Birds' converted into a Hitchcock movie with Tippie Hedren and Rod Taylor.
Book is very good, has a former owner's inscription on the half-title page and little rubbing to the bottom edge of the spine. Dustwrapper is very good with minor edge wear at the top.
