Synopsis
Clockers is a 1992 novel by American author Richard Price. In 1995 director Spike Lee adapted it into the film Clockers; Price co-wrote its screenplay with Lee. The book takes place in the fictitious project of Dempsey in North Jersey. It centers around the workings of a local drug gang and the dynamics between the drug dealers, the police and the community. The film is set in Brooklyn, New York.
