Large 8vo HB. pp; xliv, 612, 15 (Publisher's list). Engraved frontis & additional engravings. Facsimile of original title page & frontis from 1714 1st edition. Some spotting to edges of text-block, prelims to title page and isolated spots throughout. Presentation inscription from the Vicar of Lowick in Northumberland to the verso of the ffep. Very Good in bevelled royal blue cloth (Slightly darker than the picture), lettered and tooled gilt and black to the upper board and spine. Some light bumping to the extremities. Quite a scarce title on Covenanter martyrs during the 'killing years' of 1679-88
