Dr. Pieter Bleeker (1819-78) was a renowned ichthyologist (science of fish) in the 19th century and while employed with the Dutch East India Company completed his Atlas Ichthyologique des Orientales Neerlandaises between 1862-77. This set contains all of his scientific publications on the study of fish. Each work is reproduced with its original pagination.
