William Blackwood & Sons, 1923. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1923. 10th Impression. 365 pages. No dust jacket. Signed by the author. Flat signed by author to title page. Volume II. Green cloth with gilt lettering to spine and front board. Pages are slightly tanned with minor foxing throughout. Heavier tanning and foxing to text-block edges, pastedowns and endpapers. Pen inscription to front free endpaper. Pages with deckled bottom edges. Binding remains firm. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with notable bumping to corners and rubbing to surface. Some stains and creasing to boards. Moderate sunning to spine with prominent crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering on spine is distinctively worn. Book has mild backward lean.
