New York: Henry Holt, 1930. First Trade Edition. Hardcover. Fine/near fine. Octavo, 349pp. First state, with "laces" on p. 128. A fine, crisp copy in the publisher's brown cloth, stamped in gilt. In a near fine dust jacket, with a faint stain at the base, a few short tears, and some unnecessary tape repairs to verso, but still much nicer than usually found, outward presenting as a beautiful copy. Very mild fading to spine. The first retrospective collection of Frost's poetry, bearing a portrait frontispiece by Doris Ulmann, and signed in facsimile by both her and Frost. The trade edition is rarer in a nice dust jacket than the limited edition is generally. Winner of the Pulitzer Prize. Crane A14.1 (one of 3870 copies).
