London: Faber and Faber, 1960. Bound in the publishers red cloth hardboards with gilt title lettering to spine. This is the first impression of the first edition of this collection of poems. Flambouyantly signed to the title page by Lawrence Durrell in thick blue pen. Book sits solid and square with all corners sharp. All pages are present and correct. A very fresh copy inisde and out in near fine condition. Housed in the very good dustwrapper with publishers printed price intact on front inside flap. A little bit of light wear and signs of handling commensurate with age otherwise the dustwrapper remains in very good condition. Protected in a removable archival booksleeve to preserve condition. Signed copies by Lawrence Durrell of this particular collection of poetry are extremely scarce.. Signed by Illustrator. First Edition. Near Fine/Very Good. FIRST EDITION.
