Contains melodies with keyboard accompaniment. No date of publication; the publisher was located at 212 Chestnut St., Philadelphia (the address in the imprint) in 1846. Removed from a volume of sheet music published from 1825 to 1850 with former owner's name on the front: "E. C. K. Seymour." Contents: Ruth and Naomi with music by R. Topliff; Oh, Had I Wings Like a Dove, written by Charles Jefferys, arranged by T. Devereaux; There's Nothing True but Heaven! with music by Mr. Shaw; Who Are These in Bright Array?; The Better Land, with poetry by Mrs. Hemans and music by S. Nelson; Sound the Loud Timbrel. Scarce. In Good Condition: foxing throughout; 10-cm. closed tear from fore-edge of front wrapper; otherwise, clean and solid.
