New York: The World Publishing Company, 1971. First US edition (hardback). 4to (31cm by 24cm), 351pp. 48 colour plates, 730 b&w illustrations. Original black cloth, dustwrapper. Preliminary pages foxed, ownership inscription to the front free endpaper, else the book is in very good condition. The dustwrapper is in good condition (top edge a little frayed, some minor sunning of the spine panel).
