London: Carta Press, 1969. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Handsome book (VG+) in rust coloured publisher's cloth with gold titling on the spine. Previous owner's name printed on front free endpaper. Faint red mark on the copyright page. Coloured frontis plus five additional colour illustrations. Many b&w illustrations of maps within its 132 pages plus a back section of 100 b&w plates. The dust jacket is VG only, with edge wear and some curling along the bottom edges and a two inch tear along the rear flap fold. An "indispensable aid to identification.

We do not use stock photos. All our photos are of the actual item offered for sale. We try to include the publishers' own descriptions of content by including photos of dust jacket flaps and back covers so far as they seem useful, and we also use photos to show material flaws where we can.

The "Pulp & Circumstance" watermark you might notice in some of our photos does not, of course, appear on any of the items themselves.

Please note that the colour in our photos often fails to come out right. The hue shifts a bit due to the limitations of our equipment, the lighting in our workshop, and of course my own lack of photographic expertise.
